Steve began his career at Currie Solutions when he was 17. He began as a computer programmer before swiftly moving into the European Operations for 9 years. Steve has a keen interest in technology so when the opportunity arose he moved to head up IT for the company which has developed to his current role as Business Systems Director.
Clare CurriePricing Clerk
Clare has worked for us since she first started on the YTS scheme in 1993 as an office junior. When she finished her qualification, she continued to work as a temp before joining the team on a permanent basis. Clare has worked as an account manager for some of our biggest clients and also as a pallet controller before her current role as a pricing clerk. A familiar voice to many of our customers.
Ellis McLachlanTrainee Accounts Clerk
Ellis started as an apprentice in our Operations Administration team in 2016. On completing his apprenticeship Ellis moved to our accounts team as a Trainee Accounts Clerk where he continues to work now.
Claire has been with Currie's since she left school at 16 as a YTS student. Claire has continued her career here and with 27 years service she is a valuable member of the team. She started in sales ledger but after some maternity leave to have her 2 children she now works in purchase ledger.
Stephen TurnerManaging Director
Stephen began his career here under the companies founder Norman Currie before working up to the position of Managing Director. Stephen continues to work closely with all our customers and operations.
Allan JamiesonOperations Director
Allan began his career here at 16 years old, he quickly moved up to transport manager and after years of experience in transport management he was promoted to Operations Director. Allan oversees all our operations and also manages some key accounts.
